Couples therapy
Couples therapy is for partners navigating the strain that can come with becoming parents — exhaustion, changing roles, communication breakdowns, resentment, distance, and the feeling that your relationship has been pushed to the background.
This is a space to understand what has changed between you, reconnect with each other, and build a relationship that supports who you are now.

Why couples therapy?
You may love each other deeply and still find yourselves arguing more, communicating less, or feeling more like a team managing family life than a couple.
Sleep deprivation, the mental load, shifting responsibilities, different expectations, and less time for connection can slowly create distance — even in relationships that once felt strong.
Couples therapy gives you space to understand what’s happening between you and begin rebuilding communication, emotional safety, and connection.
space to understand recurring conflict and tension
support with communication and unmet needs
space to navigate changing roles and responsibilities
support in rebuilding closeness, trust, and connection
Session length: 50 minutes
Format: Online via Zoom
Couple therapy is for you if:
Maybe the same arguments keep coming up. Maybe resentment has started building around responsibilities. Or maybe there isn’t much conflict at all, but the closeness you once had feels harder to find.
Couples therapy may be for you if:
communication has become tense, defensive, or difficult
the same conflicts keep repeating without resolution
you feel emotionally distant from one another
resentment has built around parenting, responsibilities, or the mental load
intimacy or affection has changed since becoming parents
You don’t need to wait until the relationship is in crisis to ask for support.

Ce abordam în proces?
Couples therapy isn’t about deciding who is right and who is wrong.
It’s about understanding what happens between you when tension rises, what each of you may be needing beneath the conflict, and how the transition into parenthood has affected the way you communicate, connect, and support one another.
Together, we may explore:
communication and recurring conflict
emotional distance and disconnection
parenting roles and unequal mental load
resentment and unmet needs
intimacy and affection after becoming parents
expectations within the relationship
emotional safety and trust
reconnecting as partners beyond the parenting role
The goal isn’t to get your old relationship back. It’s to build a relationship that feels more connected, supportive, and sustainable for the life you’re living now.
